Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce 2018 Breakfast Forum

The Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce presented the area’s history and future at its annual elected officials breakfast on April 20 at Maniaci’s Banquet Center. Breakfast was served at 7 a.m. and the program ran from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Local city and township officials who served as speakers at the event included Columbus Township Supervisor Bruce Christy, Richmond Township Supervisor Cindi Greenia, Richmond Mayor Tim Rix, Casco Township Supervisor Bill Ruemenapp and Lenox Township Supervisor Ron Trombly.

County officials who spoke at this year’s event included St. Clair County Board of Commissioners Chairman Jeff Bohm and Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel.

RAHGS member Ken Simmons, a local attorney, served as emcee.

The forum featured information on the formation and growth of the area in both Macomb and St. Clair counties, as introduced by Simmons and RAHGS President Christine Rowley.

I was very proud to have been at this event. You can read more about it on The Post.
